Private birthday party planning, designed around the guest of honour.

A London-based party production team for the birthdays that matter — 30ths, 40ths, 50ths, the occasional 80th held on a roof. Private dining, themed parties, surprise productions, and after-parties that run until 3am.

How we approach it

The best birthdays are specific. We start with the guest of honour — favourite drink, the song that always works, the friends who must not be seated together — and design outwards from there.

The best birthdays are specific. We start with the guest of honour — favourite drink, the song that always works, the friends who must not be seated together, the friend who will inevitably sing — and design outwards from there. Bespoke menus, a curated music programme, the right room, the right lighting, the right number of people. No template, no off-the-shelf production.

We produce birthdays at private homes (an unloved garage in Mayfair has become one of our favourite party spaces), private rooms in restaurants, members' clubs, gallery spaces, hired-out venues, and the occasional rooftop. We hold a small roster of private homes around London available for hire by referral only.

Surprise productions are a specialism — we've staged a flashmob of friends arriving from four time zones for a 40th, a recreated supper club from the birthday person's first job for a 50th, and a private gig from a musician the host has loved since university. Logistics are quiet, the moment is loud.

Planning and production fees start at £4,200, with most birthdays sitting between £8,000 and £40,000 in total spend depending on guest count and ambition. Photography and a same-week recap film are included as standard — most clients don't tell us, but we know the recap film is half the reason they hire us.

Questions, answered

The 6 things people ask before they call.

01How much does a birthday party cost?
From £4,200 in planning and production fees. Total spend including venue, catering, music and decor typically sits between £8,000 and £40,000 for a London birthday of 30–150 guests. We share a fully costed proposal within ten days of the brief.
02Can you organise a surprise party?
Yes — surprise productions are a specialism. We handle the logistics quietly, work with one trusted person on the inside, and brief everyone else on a need-to-know basis. We've staged surprise gigs, flashmobs, and recreations of meaningful spaces from the birthday person's life.
03Where do you host private birthdays?
Private homes (we hold a discreet roster of London homes available by referral), members' clubs, private dining rooms, gallery spaces, hired-out restaurants and the occasional rooftop. The Standard, Annabel's, Maison Estelle and Spencer House are recent venues.
04How far in advance should we book?
Three months is comfortable for a 30–80 person dinner. Six weeks is do-able if you're flexible on venue. We've planned 40ths in three weeks — possible, but the venue list shrinks fast.
05Do you handle catering and entertainment?
Yes. Bespoke menu and drinks list, music programming (DJ, band, or live performer), styling, lighting, photography and a same-week recap film all sit with us. Most clients book us for the production but mention the recap film first.
06Can the party run late?
Yes. We hold licensing relationships across most London boroughs and can extend most venues to 2am or 3am with notice. After-party programming — DJs, late-night food, transport home — sits with us.
