Bedford and the surrounding villages are a regular part of our calendar. Twenty minutes north of our Luton base, with a venue list that ranges from Wrest Park and Woburn Abbey down to the smaller country houses and Bedford-town hotels we use for mid-scale weddings and corporate hospitality.

Bedford sits comfortably inside our home-market service area. The same team that produces our Luton, Hertfordshire and north-London weddings handles Bedford work — usually with shorter notice and lower travel-related costs than our Cotswolds or London-central briefs. Most of our Bedford weddings sit between 80 and 180 guests; corporate events between 60 and 300.
Venues we work with regularly: Woburn Abbey (technically straddling the Bedfordshire-Buckinghamshire border) for exclusive-hire estate weddings; Wrest Park (English Heritage) for marquee weddings on the grounds; Houghton Hall for 60–120 guest country-house weddings; The Bedford Swan Hotel and The Embankment Hotel for hotel-led receptions; and a handful of village halls and converted farm buildings across the Bedfordshire countryside.
Bedford pricing sits at the lower end of our planning fee range — £8,500 vs. £12,500 for the Cotswolds — because crew travel and accommodation costs are lower. Hall decoration and venue styling start at £1,200. Suppliers are charged at cost. We never take supplier commission.
Corporate work in Bedford is meaningful. The cluster of head offices and tech businesses along the M1 corridor (Bedford to Milton Keynes) briefs us regularly for launches, AGMs, partner programmes and hospitality. We've produced events at Wyboston Lakes, Whittlebury Park (just outside in Northants) and a number of corporate campus marquee builds.
