Cliveden is one of the most distinctive country-house venues in the south of England — and one of the most production-sensitive. The kitchen has a Michelin pedigree, the rooms have working fireplaces, and the gardens were designed three centuries before anyone said the word wedding. We produce roughly six Cliveden events a year.
30 to 200 across the house, terrace and grounds
Weddings · Corporate · Birthdays
Cliveden weddings divide between the Great Hall (80 seated, a small ceremony feel even at full capacity) and the marquee on the parterre lawn (up to 200, the format most of our larger Cliveden weddings take). The terrace handles drinks for both formats; the Astor Suite handles the after-party.
Corporate work at Cliveden is a meaningful part of our calendar. Fund dinners for 30–60, partner programmes, off-sites, and the very occasional broadcast-grade event in the rebuilt orangery. The venue is 35 minutes from central London and 25 minutes from Heathrow — close enough for international guests to attend an evening event and leave on a morning flight.
Cliveden's standard hospitality is at hotel level — meaning your producer needs to navigate the venue's own service team, not work around them. We've established working relationships with the food and beverage director and the events team that make the production smoother than a first-time visit suggests.
A thirty-minute call. We'll tell you within the week whether we're the right house for the brief — and which other venues might be worth a look.
